Welcome Mama,

What an exciting journey you are about to embark on.

I'm here to be your bump, birth and bub companion. Through the beautiful and the challenging moments, I will be there. To help support you in discovering who you truly are and want to be as a mother. I will be your "birth sister" who believes in you, your body and your baby. You can have a birth that is calm, confident and connected.

I am your support system, your cheer squad, your doula... Your Birth Mama.

Emma Goodin

My name is Emma, and I am a birth doula offering services to women in Perth, Western Australia. I offer continuous non-medical emotional and physical support to women through an exciting yet often overwhelming chapter in their life - mama-hood. I am also a mother, a wife, an artist and a high-school teacher. I have a beautiful cheeky daughter, and our little family of three lives in the Perth hills. Nothing makes me happier than being outside with a proper coffee made by my husband, sitting under the trees, soaking up the sun and fresh air, while watching our daughter laugh and play (and chew on any leaf or piece of dirt she can find).

As your doula and Your Birth Mama, I will be a part of your support system. My wish for you is to have a calm, confident and connected mama journey.

It is important that we build a strong and connected professional relationship focused on trust and warmth. So click the link above to learn more about me, discover what lead me to become a birth doula and see if I'd be a good match for you and your mama journey.

my mission is...

Very warm and welcoming presence. Easy to chat to and provide feedback on what felt good. Felt supported and heard - exactly how I want to feel in labour.

Emma was super easy to get along with. I developed an instant rapport with her. She was really knowledgable and I felt comfortable asking her any questions that I had.
